The frustrating part is that the fulfilment system just wasn’t able for these numbers and for that I can only apologise to those who didn’t get what they had wanted.Rosie Connolly has shared an emotional post to social media, as she prepares to open her first clothing store for her brand, 4TH ARQ. “We could not have anticipated these numbers and are blown away by the support. “In terms of stock, we ordered 4 times the amount we had when we first launched, and just for reference, in the first 3 minutes of going live we had over 700 orders come in. I am so sorry to let anyone down that was excited to purchase from us. “We have been working through the night to get this rectified and get back to anyone who has had their order cancelled. “I am beyond devastated that this happened on such a big day for us, and so upset that some orders have to be cancelled.” “This was only picked up later in the day by them and so we shut our site down to stop any more orders going through and work through the orders that had come in.” “Unfortunately the fulfilment company’s system did not update stock levels quick enough so items appeared to be in stock when they had in fact sold out. ![]() When we went live yesterday at 9am we had a record number of traffic flow in. “We hired a fulfilment company to help things run more smoothly and efficiently as our order numbers increased. ![]() At the time she blamed a fulfilment company she employed saying: In January she was forced to cancel multiple orders.
